Christmas Hampers and Candy Cane Messages!

Yes Folks, Christmas is coming and High Park is excited to help kick off the gathering of Toys and Gift Cards for the Kinsmen Club of Stony Plain.  

This has been a long term (25 years) tradition of High Park School along with our school Families who have contributed to the Kinsmen Christmas Hampers.  The Gift of Giving is has been a very rewarding experience for everyone, especially for the kids. This year we continue with that tradition. Your Homeroom / Grade teacher(s) will send home a message with information about the family they will be sponsoring.  The Kinsmen have asked that Food Items be provided directly to the Parkland Food Bank as they will be supporting them with gift cards to upsize each food hamper. With that a Collection Box will be set up in each classroom for the kids to contribute Toys and Gifts.  Any Gift Cards can be brought directly to the office for the Kinsmen.

Candy Cane Messages 

This too is a FUNdraiser for the Christmas Hampers.  For our new families, this is another tradition here at High Park.  Each Homeroom will be provided a day where they can purchase Candy Cane Messages.  Our Student Leadership kids will be participating in the selling of these messages.  All the kids really enjoy writing a special message to their friends and/or staff.  The messages are attached to a Candy Cane and delivered before school lets out for the Holiday Break.  These messages along with a Candy Cane are 50 cents each.  Your teacher will be providing you with details and dates these can be purchased.
