HPS Apr 17 Weekly Update
Hello HPS Families! Here is your weekly update for the week of April 17-21st.
High Park School Spirit Wear Online Shop
Want to show your High Park School Spirit with some cool gear? We will be placing an order for items at the end of April. Order forms will be available after this week and all orders must be received by our office no later than May 1st.
PAL Presents… Spring Fling Family Dance
Spring Fling is back on April 21st in the High Park gym from 6:00-9:00 pm! Our organizers are looking for volunteers to help with shifts. If you are able to help out with this event, please contact our organizers at highpark.scchair@partner.psd.ca.
Please note the following information:
- Admission is $5.00 at the door - cash only
- Concession will be available - cash only
- All children in attendance must be accompanied by a responsible adult - a sign-in will be required at the door. Families are welcome to bring a guest or friend(s) with them and must sign them in under their supervision.
- Please note that no outdoor footwear is permitted in the gym to protect our gymnasium floors, which were just refinished.
Dallas Arcand - Hoop Dancer
Dallas Arcand will be performing for our students this Thursday, April 20 in the afternoon. We will have one presentation for our grade 7-9 students at 1:00pm, and one for our K-6 students at 2:00pm. Dallas Arcand is a 3X World Champion Hoop Dancer and an Award-Winning EDM Music Producer and Artist. We are so excited to have him visit our school! Parents, if you are interested in attending either performance, please email adrienne.owen@psd.ca in advance so we can ensure there is space available.
Hot Lunches
If your child will be absent and you’d like to pick up their lunch or send it to another child, please call or email the office at 780-963-2222 or highpark@psd.ca no later than 10:00 am the day of hot lunch. Please note that refunds are not available. The deadline to order hot lunches for the upcoming month is the 25th of the current month. The link to order is https://hpspal.hotlunches.net/admin/ and the code to register is always HPHL.
