Administration Change for 2023-24

As many of you may know by now, we will be saying farewell to Mr. Oldham at the end of this month. Mr. Oldham has decided to return to the classroom after two years as Assistant Principal at High Park School. He will be moving on to Connection For Learning’s Parkland Student Athlete Academy in the fall. We wish him all the best with his upcoming school year, and will miss his bad dad jokes next year!

Joining us as High Park School’s Assistant Principal in the fall is Mrs. Melissa Everitt-Dallinger, who is currently in the role of Assistant Principal at Forest Green School in Stony Plain. Mrs. Dallinger is also known to keep a few corny jokes up her sleeve, and brings with her a wealth of experience in diverse positions throughout her career.

Elementary Field Day/Fun Day

In lieu of our track and field day that was cancelled last month, we are planning a fun afternoon for our elementary classes on the afternoon of June 23rd. We are looking for some parent volunteers to help us with setting up and running event stations that day. We are also looking for 3-4 parents to assist with cooking hot dogs. If you are able to help us out that day, please complete this form and someone will contact you shortly!

Hot Dog Hot Lunch

On June 23rd, we will be serving hot dogs for lunch. Orders are open on the hot lunch portal until June 19. Get yours in today!

Technology & Cell Phone Policy Parent Survey - Open Until June 19

We are looking for your input to help guide a potential change in our cell phone and personal device policy for the upcoming school year. Please complete this short survey with your feedback and insight for consideration as we move forward. The survey will stay open until June 19th at 4:30 pm for submissions. We appreciate your feedback!

Junior High Exam Letters

Letters went home last week with the exam schedule and details for students in grades 7-9. If you wish for your child to sign out and go home after their exam(s), you will need to return this form to our office no later than June 16. 

Write On Stationery and School Supply Lists

It's that time of year to consider next year's school supplies.  High Park has been working with Write On Stationery for many years.  This is not a fundraiser and so they are able to pass on the best available price on all supplies.  If you would rather shop on your own, simply visit the HPS or Write On website for the Grade Lists.

School Fees

All school fees are now past due and statements were emailed last week. Please login to Parent Portal to complete payment for this year’s fees. You can also make payment to the school office by cash, cheque or credit card. If you are unable to make payment for school fees due to financial constraints, please contact our office as soon as possible to make alternate arrangements.

Hot Lunch

If your child will be absent and you’d like to pick up their lunch or send it to another child, please call or email the office at 780-963-2222 or highpark@psd.ca no later than 10:00 am the day of hot lunch. Please note that refunds are not available. The deadline to order hot lunches for the upcoming month is the 25th of the current month. The link to order is https://hpspal.hotlunches.net/admin/ and the code to register is always HPHL.
