Good morning High Park School and Community!

High Park School is hosting a Cross Country race on Thursday, October 3, 2024. This event draws approximately 800 racers from the Parkland County area. The race is set to begin at 4:00pm and run until approximately 5:30pm. What this means for our community is that there will be a lot of traffic and street parking that evening starting around 3:15pm. We wanted to inform you of this event in advance as it may cause some issues in our neighbourhood in regards to traffic and to give you advance warning. By-law officers will be in the community to help control traffic. If it is possible and not an inconvenience for you, parking in your driveway could clear up some street parking space for the racers.
